Q1. Unable to connect to Campus Wireless Network?
  • Make sure your wireless network card is enabled and the SSID "Wi-Fi@UIC" is listed in "Available Wireless Networks".
  • Only registered wireless device is allowed to connect to UIC WLAN. A single user account is assigned to a single registered wireless device only; please contact ITSC if you wish to change your registered device. User is allowed to change device 3 times per semester.
  • Please make sure your wireless account does not contain zero value otherwise the network access will be forbidden. This rule also applies to free wireless access in F204 and LRC. To view your account balance, please login online Self-service system or login UIC Portal.

Q2 How to view my account balance and transaction history?

1. Login Online Self-service System http://192.168.110.215/selfservice/.

2. To view transaction history, please click "上网明细".

Q1 无线网络无法上网的处理办法
  1. 首先确认笔记本无线网卡是打开的,并且在无线网络信号列表中可以查看到有"Wi-Fi@UIC"的信号存在。
  2. 无线系统默认绑定用户网络设备。就是说一个账户只能使用一台无线上网设备。如果更换电脑请到F202找IT老师进行解除绑定,但每学期只能解除三次。重装电脑系统不受影响。
  3. 账户余额不足。可以登录自助系统查询自己的账户余额,如果欠费将不能继续上网,需要到F202充值。特别提醒,账户欠费情况下在F204和图书馆是不能上网的。
Q2 怎样查询我的无线网络上网明细?
  • 在校内使用已申请的无线网络用户名和密码登录 http://192.168.110.215/selfservice/ 。

  • 在页面上部可以看到有"上网明细","帐务流水"菜单栏。
  • "上网明细"中可以查询自己的上网时间细节,包括日期,上网起止时间等;

  • "帐务流水"中可以查询自己的账户余额,充值情况以及每次上网的扣费情况。注:在F204上网是不生成记账的。
