A. Public Email Aliases
Several public email aliases have been created in ITSC to facilitate in group communication in campus. To avoid abuse of email aliases, only the authorized staffs are granted the full access of the aliases.

C. Rules and Regulations
- ITSC and HR reserves the right for authorized the full access of the public email aliases.
- The full access of the public email aliases is only automatically granted to the following staff groups:
2.1. President/Executive Vice-President/Vice-President/Associate Vice-President 2.2. Deans/Associate Deans/Language Center Director/Director of General Education Office 2.3. Program Coordinators 2.4. Bursar/Registrar/Chief 2.5. Director/head of unit: such as Whole-Person Office, SAO, GAO, Estate Office, Four-Point Education Office, Student Career Development Office, Finance Office, Human Resources Office, Secretariat Office, etc. 2.6. Clubs or societies email account.
- Other staffs who require the access right need to be applpy from ITSC and have approval from HR office.
- Unit heads can nominate some staff to have full access to the email aliases with a formal request to ITSC and get approval from HR office.
- Termination of the access right will be informed by HR.
- Authorized staff must not abuse the email aliases and no spam mails are allowed.
- Please do not use the aliases group to send any huge memory file, otherwise it will consume unnecessary storage space in the mail server and network bandwidth. For sending those big file please use the web space service or contact ITSC for assistant.
D. Procedures for applying the email aliases access right
- Complete the "Public Mail Aliases Access Right Application (Termination) Form"
- The form can be downloaded from ITSC website.
- Get approval from your unit head.
- Submit to ITSC for approval.
A. 公共邮箱别名
为了方便校园内邮件群发,ITSC已经建立一些了公共邮箱别名,为避免滥用公共邮箱别名,只允许经过审核的教职员接入公共邮箱别名的权限。

C. 规章制度
- ITSC和HR有权审定接入公共邮箱别名的权限。
- 只允许以下组别的教职员自动享有接入公共邮箱别名的权限:
2.1 校长/常务副校长/副校长/协理副校长。 2.2 院长/副院长/语言中心主任/通识教育办公室主任。 2.3 专业主任。 2.4 财务总监/教务长/总监。 2.5 处长/部门主管:如全人教育办公室主任、学生事处画/GAO/资产管理处、四维办公室、学生职业发展办公室、账务处、人事处、秘书处等等。 2.6 社团或委员会邮箱账号。
- 其它需要申请开通接入公共电子邮件别名权限的教职员,需要向ITSC提出申请,经过人事处的审核。
- 部门主管可以任命其它员工拥有接入公共邮箱别名的权限,需向ITSC提出书面申请,并经过人事处的审核。
- 由HR通知终止邮箱的接入权限。
- 准许授权的教职员不能滥用电子邮箱发送无聊的电子邮件。
- 不要给公共邮箱别名发送大容量的文件,否则,将会给邮件服务器空间及网络带宽带来不必要的浪费。需要发送大容量文件的,请用Web Space服务或联系ITSC协助。
D. 申请接入公共邮箱别规程
- 完整填写"Public Mail Aliases Access Right Application(Termination) Form"
- 上术表格可以从ITSC网页上下载。
- 获准部门主管的批准。
- 提交表格到ITSC审批。
