Campus network is an important medium for teaching and learning. The appropriate and effectual allocation of network resources can strongly influence the campus network quality. Our campus network adopted the internet leased line technology to provide internet services to all campus staff and students. Currently we incorporate the internet providers China Telecom with 50M bandwidth and China Netcom with 50M bandwidth for network flow share and redundancy backup to ensure the connectivity and reliability of the network access in campus. The network can be divided into three layers: core layer, distribution layer and access layer. The core layer of the network is constructed by two Cisco core switches with firewall to enable the internet connection for campus users. All messages from the core node will be distributed through each distribution node.This will provide a high bandwidth IP exchange channel. The core switches also have the redundancy backup capability, it will automatic switch to the other switch when the main switch does not function.This will ensure the stability and connectivity of the network. At the distribution Layer, the high-performance H3C switch is used to provide high density user access. The interfaces can also be deployed for interconnection with the core equipment to further improve the quality of the campus network. The access layer using numbers of 100M switches such as H3C, 3Com and etc interconnect a gigabyte link to the distribution layer. All switches adopt the STP protocol to avoid any network congestion and provide a more comprehensive access control and extensive network services. The optical fiber cable also lay between the campus and the student cultural village as well as the student hostel of Beijing Normal University, to provide a speedy network for student to access the campus resources. Campus wireless local network (WLAN) is one of the projects in our cyber campus strategic plan. I will be implemented shortly and the implementation is divided into two phases: in the first phase the access coverage area includes Learning Resources Center, F zone offices, B zone conference room, multipurpose hall, and F204 computer center. The full campus coverage will be achieved on the second phase. 学院使用因特网专线方式连接互联网。目前有两条线路:中国电信50M线路,中国网通50M线路,这两条线路共同进行流量分担和冗余备份,保证任何时刻都能接入互联网。校园网络设计采用三层的网络结构,分为核心层、汇聚层和接入层。网络通过核心节点连接到路由器上INTERNET,通过防火墙连接到教育网。核心节点将各种宽带数据应用和通信业务分配到各个汇聚节点,汇聚节点汇集所有的接入节点,为各业务节点之间提供一个高带宽的IP交换通道。 核心层采用一台CISCO高端交换机作为核心交换设备,保障整个园区数据交换。同时,还有一台H3C核心交换机与现有核心交换机组成双机热备份冗余。一旦主用设备出现问题宕机,备用设备能够立即切换成主用设备提供服务,从而保证网络在核心设备出现问题时不中断网路。 接入节点位于校园各楼宇楼层配线间,是为最终用户提供访问网络资源的途径。各配线间与汇聚节点采用星型连接. 汇聚层作为连接接入层和核心层网络的结合点,汇聚接入层的数据流量。汇聚层采用H3C高性能交换机,通过千兆链路连接到核心层主备交换机;接入层采用多种接入交换机,包括H3C、3COM等可网管百兆接入交换机。接入层交换机通过千兆链路上联链路连接到汇聚层。交换机全部启用STP生成树协议,防止端口意外环路引起网络风暴。 同时,学院有光纤线路连接北师宿舍和文化小镇。学生们可以方便快捷地访问学院的各种公共资源。 学院无线网络现正在计划统筹中,计划分2期进行:一期覆盖图书馆、F区、B区礼堂、圆形展厅、F204等区域:二期计划全校覆盖。建成后,将会促进学院数码校园计划的发展,为师生创建一个优越的工作学习网络环境。 |
